O heavenly Father, you give your children sleep for the refreshing of soul and body: Grant me this gift, I pray; keep me in that perfect peace which you have promised to those whose minds are fixed on you; and give me such a sense of your presence, that in the hours of silence I may enjoy the blessed assurance of your love; through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
Christ, why do you allow wars and massacres on earth? By what mysterious judgment do you allow innocent people to be cruelly slaughtered? I cannot know. I can only find assurance in the promise that your people will find peace in heaven, where no one makes war. As gold is purified by fire, so you purify souls by these bodily tribulations, making them ready to be received above the stars in your heavenly home.

I lost my father in 2013. We were very close, spoke almost everyday. I am not going to lie to you it wrecked me. I am also in my 50s. I don’t know if you have sisters or brother’s, but one day I started texting them what I call Dadisums…Just funny things he use to say like “It’s like catching lighting in a bag” and they would respond with other ones…It’s makes us laugh and remember him fondly…Takes some of the pain away, at least for us.And we know one one of us starts these round of texts it a way of telling the other person we are missing him today…

Dear Lord, God, Above all Gods, You are our Father, and I know that you watch over your creation. This is your world. Earth is your footstool. We on earth are people you created. Lord, when we feel depressed and confused over all that is happening around us, help us to remember that You are there . You comfort us and fill us with your peace. Let us know that you are there in the storms , and the storms of our lives. Calm our fear, and give us peace. When we are hurting, and sick, and we don’t know what to do, please be with us, and give us patience to endure the pain that we are dealing with. Let us remember that Jesus suffered on the cross for us, and our suffering is only a portion of what He suffered. Let us remember to think of you when we suffer ,and think of Jesus , the Son. You care for us, because I know that you are loving, kind , and good. You are wonderful, our teacher, our hope, and our lives depend on You. You give us breath, life and truth. Thank you Jesus, and the Father , for taking care of your children. Save us from the evil one. Amen
Hi, i lost my 30 years daughter on 21 JANUARY 2018. Its hard to carry on. I pray everyday for God’s healing , i was admitted in a psychiatric hospital for depression for a period of 3weeks, still taking anti depressants , praying and praising. Worse, i had a not so healthy up bringing. My mother used to emotionally and physically abuse me, she took away my two grandsons from me, after their mother died, she threw them back at me in the middle of the year. She’s abusing alcohol and smokes cigarettes a lot. My baby brother is on drugs, im the sole breadwinner. Im praying for their repentance and salvation everyday. Saints, please pray for us. My baby is still studying and i lost my dear loving father 23years ago 24 November 1995 , we were very close, i lost my loving brother 11 December 2014, he was my best friend, i cant get over them. I find it too hard to deal with all the loss and grief. I need the face of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Lord God, I wasn’t expecting this, but I believe that You are still in control, and You are close to me even in this moment (Psalm 46:1). Thank You that before any of this even happened, You already knew it all, and You will provide a way through this (Psalm 23:4). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard me from dwelling on disastrous possibilities, and plant my feet firmly on what is true (Phil 4:6-8). Help me to trust You even in this hard place, and give me your perfect peace as I fix my mind on You (Isaiah 26:3). No matter what ends up happening, I believe You will use it for good (Jeremiah 29:11), to make much of Jesus and to make me more like Jesus (Romans 8:28-29). I trust You. I love You. Amen.
O God, Creator of the universe, who extends your paternal concern over every creature and guides the events of history to the goal of salvation, we acknowledge your fatherly love when you break the resistance of mankind and, in a world torn by strife and discord, you make us ready for reconciliation. Renew for us the wonders of your mercy; send forth your Spirit that he may work in the intimacy of hearts, that enemies may begin to dialogue, that adversaries may shake hands and peoples may encounter one another in harmony. May all commit themselves to the sincere search for true peace which will extinguish all arguments, for charity which overcomes hatred, for pardon which disarms revenge.
My Dear Everlasting Father. I thank you for peace of mind. And grant me peace in my heart, that my words would uplift those around me. We shall not fear, for You are and Your Holy Spirit with us always as we walk with You through this world. And thank you for these lovely prayers that strengthen us every morning to start my day. Thank you Lord. Amen.

O God, surround N. [and N.] with your compassion as she/he/they live[s] with N. in sickness. Help N. [and N.] to accept the limits of what she/he/they can do, that feelings of helplessness and frustration [and anger] may be transformed into serene acceptance and joyful hope in you. Let her/him/them remember the grief and love of Jesus over the afflictions of his friends, knowing that God too weeps. Bring her/him/them gladness and strengthened love in her/his/their service; through Christ our companion. Amen.

I walked in this manner for awhile and then I began to want more. The Word and service to God became what I desired and couldn’t live without. As I began seeking and serving God more He began to speak to me revealing His purpose for my life through His Word, through prophetic revelations that would be given to me that would always confirm what He had already placed in my spirit.

God bless you. There are people like that and am encouraging you to keep faith alive and be strong. Pray for her that God would touch her and change her, always do what you are asked to do with joy having this assurance that a day is coming when you will be a master of your own household by then you would have learnt to threat people well. Stay hopeful don’t quick her house and I’ll you are fit to pay rent.

We begin by acknowledging that Jesus is Lord, that we live in grace and that eternity awaits us. The enemies of peace are fear, shame and pain. All of these are dissolved by the redemptive Christ and his love. Even when we ask for this peace and don't feel it - it is there underpinning the whole of our being. Like a safety net beneath us, this peace that surpasses all understanding is a constant. It does not change, it cannot fail. It is wider and deeper than we can ever imagine.
This page has three prayers asking God for inner peace, one which reminds us that God is our source of strength, and another which likens the presence of God to a gentle flame burning within us. The last prayer is the famous "Serenity Prayer" - you may wish to meditate on these words as you seek God for inner calm and emotional strength in your life.
Lord, God of Abraham, God of the Prophets, God of Love, you created us and you call us to live as brothers and sisters. Give us the strength daily to be instruments of peace; enable us to see everyone who crosses our path as our brother or sister. Make us sensitive to the plea of our citizens who entreat us to turn our weapons of war into implements of peace, our trepidation into confident trust, and our quarreling into forgiveness.
