Most Holy God, in your word we read so many stories about the ones you have protected as they left home in search of a better life. Your servant Ruth said, “Your people will be my people, your God, my God.” You loved her and found a place for her in Israel. Scripture inspires us to strive for greater hospitality to the poor, the weak and strangers.
My Dear Everlasting Father. I thank you for peace of mind. And grant me peace in my heart, that my words would uplift those around me. We shall not fear, for You are and Your Holy Spirit with us always as we walk with You through this world. And thank you for these lovely prayers that strengthen us every morning to start my day. Thank you Lord. Amen.
Be generous in prosperity and thankful in adversity. Be fair in thy judgment and guarded in thy speech. Be a lamp unto those who walk in darkness and a home to the stranger. Be eyes to the blind and a guiding light unto the feet of the erring. Be a breath of life to the body of humankind, a dew to the soil of the human heart, and a fruit upon the tree of humility.
Thank You that You are a good God Whose yoke is easy and Whose burden is light and yet there are many who have been taught lies and untruths about Who You are. Lord there are many that have been brought up in an environment of hatred and violence who have not heard of Your name or have been fed a tissue of lies about the Lord Jesus Christ – and yet He is the only hope for true peace in this world. Lord, I pray that in Your grace You would convict many of their need of the Lord Jesus and that many would be saved from the jaws of death.
I have not been feeling ok especially in terms of feeling guilty and was troubled yet I always wake up in the morning and pray even when retiring to my bed at night. It all started when I got to my workplace and was destructed by my colleagues whom I found not in a very good mood. I thought to myself that maybe I did not do well but could not figure out how it happened as I was rejoicing in the morning on my way to work.. The prayer has helped reminded me of the Love our Saviour Jesus Christ has for each and everyone of us and how we should always remember him and keep him in our minds and do the right things at all times. Thank you.
Hi Sonnie – I have been in yer shoes & I am still grieving the loss of 4 dear friends from suicide … this all happened to me in 5 yrs – it’s an awful ordeal to have to go through . Some days are better then other’s it seems . Prayer & my Faith in God have helped me – being open & honest about what a wreck I am emotionally with friends & family has been a gift I give myself . The healing process is long … I have wept – I have felt guilty – I have been very angry – but God has been there for me every step of the way . I have come to the conclusion that my dear friends were just too sad & weak to hold on to this life . Nothing I could have said or done would have made a difference . God only knows how long our lives will be on this earth . It was His choice to take them to Heaven . I want you to know that I am sending Love & Healing Prayers to you – I hope that in time you will heal – give yourself lot’s of TLC – {{{{ hugs <3 Blessings }}} Just me – Norene a friend who cares ~ 🙂

The child you embrace has a name that is dear to the peoples of biblical religion: "Jesus," which means "God saves." So the Archangel named him before he was conceived in your womb (cf. Lk 2,21). In the face of the newborn Messiah, we recognize the face of all your children, who suffer from being despised and exploited. We recognize especially the faces of your children, to whatever race, nation or culture they may belong.
Dear God, it's been 12 years since my mind began to get twisted due to bipolar disorder. I'm constantly depressed and many times and don't deal well with people, I hurt their feelings. The drugs I take are not effective and medicine says that bipolar disorder doesn't have a cure. But I do know that my savior Jesus can heal me and I pray for this every day, I do believe in His miracles.
Ummy – Did they know Christ as their Savior? If they did not, then I do know and feel your pain. If they did, then they are already risen. They are in Heaven right now, yet without a physical body. Jesus is currently the only One in Heaven with a glorified body. When Christ comes again to take us all to Heaven, we will all then receive our eternal bodies.
Lord, God of Abraham, God of the Prophets, God of Love, you created us and you call us to live as brothers and sisters. Give us the strength daily to be instruments of peace; enable us to see everyone who crosses our path as our brother or sister. Make us sensitive to the plea of our citizens who entreat us to turn our weapons of war into implements of peace, our trepidation into confident trust, and our quarreling into forgiveness.

I ran into the people running Holy Land Prayer during a tour of the holy places in Israel last year. They told me about their site and their commitment to connect believers from around the world to the holiest place on earth. I was surprised because I hadn’t heard about it before. When I came back home, I told members in our community about this service and they loved the idea. We now send a prayer together every month, and we Read More...
I went on this site to seek prayer for my son, who said God had given him the wife he had been waiting for. He remained celibate for 15 years and God showed him his wife to be. There was some dating and then she discovered she was pregnant for her old boyfriend. Feeling obligated, she married the old boyfriend, but was still in love with my son. My son respected her marriage and never spoke to her again for Read More...
98. Where is a peace that I might know, where is a comfort that I might be satisfied? All day long I search, everywhere I look for answers but find none so I bow my knees in prayer and the Lord began to minister peace unto me as a child receives nourishment, I rejoice because the Lord has nourished me with peace from his table and given comfort to me. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, who are called the Prince of Peace, who are yourself our peace and reconciliation, who so often said, "Peace to you," grant us peace. Make all men and women witnesses of truth, justice, and brotherly love. Banish from their hearts whatever might endanger peace. Enlighten our rulers that they may guarantee and defend the great gift of peace. May all peoples of the earth becomes as brothers and sisters. May longed-for peace blossom forth and reign always over us all.
Lord Jesus Christ, by your patience in suffering you hallowed earthly pain and gave us the example of obedience to your Father’ will: Be near me in my time of weakness and pain; sustain me by your grace, that my strength and courage may not fail; heal me according to you will; and help me always to believe that what happens to me here is of little account if you hold me in eternal life, my Lord and my God. Amen.
71. Jesus, you took it all away, the sufferings upon the cross a remainder of the thoughts you have towards me, from my sorrows and all my troubles I have come to you with a heart of thanksgiving, away from the distractions, away from it all I have come to find your peace and comfort. I receive both your peace that assures and your overwhelming comfort upon my life in the name of Jesus. Amen
Help me to develop a peace of mind that only comes from casting all my burdens upon You. Help me I pray to take my eyes off the circumstances of life that seem so burdensome to me and to learn how to keep my eye fixed upon Jesus, for I know that this is what You have instructed us to do of which we are to enjoy the perfect peace that only comes from You.
I walked in this manner for awhile and then I began to want more. The Word and service to God became what I desired and couldn’t live without. As I began seeking and serving God more He began to speak to me revealing His purpose for my life through His Word, through prophetic revelations that would be given to me that would always confirm what He had already placed in my spirit.

Gathered together on this page are a number of resources that remind us of God's love and comfort in these difficult times. There are prayers for those who are experiencing great loss and bereavement, a video on finding God's comfort in grief, and bible verses about God's consolation and reassuring presence. There are also prayers for families and friends who are in mourning:-
O God, surround N. [and N.] with your compassion as she/he/they live[s] with N. in sickness. Help N. [and N.] to accept the limits of what she/he/they can do, that feelings of helplessness and frustration [and anger] may be transformed into serene acceptance and joyful hope in you. Let her/him/them remember the grief and love of Jesus over the afflictions of his friends, knowing that God too weeps. Bring her/him/them gladness and strengthened love in her/his/their service; through Christ our companion. Amen.

This is another day, O Lord. I know not what it will bring forth, but make me ready, Lord, for whatever it may be. If I am to stand up, help me to stand bravely. If I am to sit still, help me to sit quietly. If I am to lie low, help me to do it patiently. And if I am to do nothing, let me do it gallantly. Make these words more than words, and give me the Spirit of Jesus. Amen.
